Elizabeth Reed-Eanes graduates from PHCC

Elizabeth Reed-Eanes, of Martinsville, was among more than 450 students who graduated from Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville during commencement on May 17. Reed-Eanes graduated summa cum laude with a(n) certification in Clerical Studies.

Students who graduated with honors were recognized: 3.2 cum laude (with honor); 3.5 magna cum laude (with high honor) and 3.8 summa cum laude (with highest honor).

Dr. Annie Wimbish, a senior associate at the Schlechty Center for Leadership and School Reform in Vernon Hill, Va., served as keynote speaker.
